CodeThemes reads every message sent to its two public inboxes: editorial@codethemes.co for content, corrections and reader questions, and partnerships@codethemes.co for commercial enquiries. We reply to editorial mail within 3 business days and to partnership mail within 5 business days. One thing up front: we review casino software — we cannot recover money from a casino for you, but the section below tells you exactly who can.
How do you reach the CodeThemes team?
CodeThemes routes all contact through email so that every request has a written trail. Pick the inbox that matches your reason for writing — misrouted mail gets forwarded, but it costs you a day or two.
editorial@codethemes.co — factual corrections, outdated screenshots, broken review data, questions about our testing, requests to re-test a platform, accessibility problems with this site. Handled directly by Daniel Mercer and Sofia Almeida.
partnerships@codethemes.co — affiliate program terms, business development, press. This inbox is deliberately separated from editorial: nobody who answers it can edit a review, per our Editorial & Review Process.
What should you contact CodeThemes about?
CodeThemes is most useful to you on anything touching the software layer of an online casino. Good reasons to write in:
- You found an error in a review — a wrong provider list, a stale RNG certificate reference, a score that does not match the published breakdown.
- A platform shipped a major update and you think our review is now testing an old build.
- You experienced a technical failure (crashed game, broken cashier, dead mobile flow) at a casino we rated highly and want it logged for the next re-review.
- You want to know why we scored something the way we did; the methodology is on How We Rate, and we answer questions it does not cover.
Error reports get priority handling. A confirmed factual error is corrected within 3 business days of verification, with the fix noted on the affected page.
How fast does CodeThemes respond?
CodeThemes commits to a first human reply — not an autoresponder — within 3 business days for editorial mail and 5 business days for partnership mail. Correction reports that identify a live factual error jump the queue and are triaged within 1 business day. We do not operate a phone line or live chat; email keeps our small team accurate and gives both sides a record of what was claimed and what was fixed.
Can CodeThemes resolve a dispute with a casino?
No. CodeThemes has no authority over any casino operator and cannot intervene in account closures, confiscated winnings, delayed withdrawals or bonus disputes. The bodies that can act are the regulator that licensed the casino and independent alternative dispute resolution (ADR) services:
- UK-licensed casinos — complain first to the operator, then escalate to its listed ADR provider; the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) oversees licensees at gamblingcommission.gov.uk.
- Malta-licensed casinos — the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) accepts player complaints at mga.org.mt after you have exhausted the operator’s own process.
- Other jurisdictions — the casino’s terms and conditions page names its licensing authority; that authority’s website lists its complaint route.
Send us the dispute anyway if it reveals a platform defect — we log operator-conduct reports as an input to re-reviews — but route the claim itself to the regulator.
Where do you go if gambling is harming you?
CodeThemes is not a support service, and email is too slow when you need help. Free, confidential support is available now from BeGambleAware, GamCare and the resources collected on our Responsible Gambling page, including the US helpline 1-800-GAMBLER.
